""Run of the Mill" Queso and cold chunky salsa and some of the freshest guacamole I've tasted in a while served with slightly oily tortilla chips. The Carne Asada Tacos are simple but very good as well as the grilled Pollo. The scene is very modernized and festive at the same time. Would be ten times better if they had a full bar. Service was definitely small town feel."

"I go to many restaurants and this is by far one of the best Mexican restaurants in Humboldt and surrounding areas. The food is delicious! They not only have authentic Mexican food they accommodate your meal if you like it done a slightly different way. Make sure you inform the waitress if you have a special request for example you might prefer a corn tortilla instead of a flour tortilla, etc. Not many restaurants are this flexible. The cook and other kitchen helpers are passionate about their cooking and make their meals fresh. For example, the Huaraches are made when you order them, they are not frozen. So this meal may take a little bit longer to bring to your table but this is the reason because you can be assured that it will be fresh and delicious made when you place the order. The overall place is very clean and the staff are courteous and attentive. If the place is busy, be patient the service and the food are worth it! We will be back and recommend this place to you and your family ."
